I started cardiac PT and rehab this week. Post my open-heart surgery that saw the docs work on my congenital heart defect, Teratology of Fallot, by replacing a pulmonary valve, closing a ventricular septal defect, and working on my aorta valve as well, I was “referred” to cardia rehab and physical therapy.
During the orientation to the program, the staff said, “the program will make you, Better. Stronger. Faster.” From that point forward, all that played in the drive-in theatre between the ears was this little ditty:
